Bettie McLaurin

As CEO, Bettie is responsible for providing SOI with strategic leadership, working with the President and senior management to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies. Bettie has extensive experience in small business ownership, planning, developing, and marketing solutions to customer requirements. She is a high-energy executive and visionary with excellent leadership in all aspects of life; family; and business.
Tyrone McLaurin

Tyrone McLaurin is Solution One Industries Inc. (SOI) President, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer. As President, Tyrone has oversight responsibility for the company's operational business units, corporate and strategic planning, business development, quality, safety, contracts, procurement and expanding the company capabilities and customer base. Tyrone leads continuous improvement efforts that drive efficiency, foster continued growth, execution of cost-competitive solutions and exceptional business services.
Melissa Perez
Vice President of Finance and Administration
Melissa Perez is Solution One Industries Inc. (SOI) Vice President of Finance and Administration reporting to Chief Executive Officer Bettie McLaurin, and President Tyrone McLaurin. In this role, Melissa oversees the accounting, business support, financial planning and analysis, treasury, real estate, internal audit, tax, human resources, and administration functions at Solution One. Melissa joined Solution One in 2018 as Finance Controller and has worked closely with Solution One’s senior leadership since her arrival. Melissa has over 25 years of experience in building and leading finance teams in major companies. Prior to joining Solution One, Melissa was Finance Controller for Privatized Military Housing. She began her career with Round Rock ISD and advanced to Dell Inc. working in their Treasury division. Melissa graduated from Post University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Incarnate Word.
Robert Swain
Deputy Director of Operations
Robert Swain joined SOI in 2007 as a Contract Administrator. Over the years he has advanced through the ranks and is currently the Deputy Director of Operations. He performs several additional duties, including Facility Security Officer, Facilities, and Procurement Manager. His years of exposure to the industry have provided him the experience needed to become well rounded in a multi-functional environment. Robert is a US Army veteran and has a bachelor’s degree in Theology and Biblical Studies.
Mario Garcia
Finance Manager
Mario Garcia is Solution One Industries Inc. Finance Manager. As Finance Manager, Mario oversees the accounting and payroll operations at Solution One. Mario joined Solution One in 2019 with over 15 years of experience in leading business and contracting teams and brings a wealth of knowledge of financial and business integration and software implementation. Starting as an Accountant, he has advanced through Payroll Manager to Finance Manager. Prior to joining Solution One, Mario was in Finance and Logistics for Privatized Military Housing. Mario began his career with the Mexican Government in the Contracts division where he led a team in negotiating contracts for environmental agencies. Mario graduated from Metropolitana Universidad with a bachelor’s degree in International Trade concentration in Business Administration.
David Bates
Senior Human Resources and Labor Relations Manager
David Bates is the Senior Human Resources and Labor Relations Manager at Solution One Industries, Inc. (SOI). David reports to Melissa Perez, Vice President of Finance and Administration. In this role, David is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources and Labor Relations functions within the company. Prior to being promoted to his current position, David was the onsite Human Resources Manager for a large SOI contract. Before beginning his career with SOI, David served as the Director of Human Resources for an organization with over 5,000 employees and over 100 worksites. David obtained a bachelor’s degree from Alice Lloyd College and holds multiple certifications in the Human Resources and Labor Relations fields.
